Abstract

This paper is part of a field reseach on the conflict management in Sambas, Kalimantan, Indonesia. Managing a conflict requires the comprehensive understanding, dynamic programs, clear job description from the governmental institutions, and synergic cooperation between the central and regent government that involved local society’s cooperation. This paper deploys the socio-political model of conflict management which anticipates and, thus, affords to perevent the conflict in the regency.
