About the Journal
Jurnal Fiqh (ISSN: 1823-089X; e-ISSN: 2289-7518) is a refereed journal published by the Department of Fiqh-Usul and Applied Sciences, Academy of Islamic Studies, Universiti Malaya (formerly known as Department of Fiqh and Usul, Academy of Islamic Studies, Universiti Malaya). Since 2020, the journal has been published twice a year. Its main objective is to provide an academic forum for the discussion of issues related to Fiqh, Usul al-Fiqh, Contemporary Fiqh and Maqasid al-Shariah.

Jurnal Fiqh (JF) is a high-quality open-access, peer-reviewed research journal published by the Department of Fiqh and Usul, Academy of Islamic Studies, University of Malaya. Jurnal Fiqh provides a platform for imparting and sharing knowledge in the form of high-quality empirical and theoretical research papers, case studies, literature reviews, and book reviews in the scope of contemporary fiqh and Usul Fiqh issues as well as other issues related to fiqh.
Volume 22 No. 2 of Jurnal Fiqh was available online on 30 December 2025 for 7 accepted papers. All articles in this issue were authored by 24 authors from 4 countries i.e: Malaysia, Indonesia, Uganda and Turkiye.
