ஆணாதிக்கமும் மலேசிய இந்தியப் பெண்களும் - தோட்டப்புற மற்றும் இன்றைய நிலை ஒரு பார்வை (Patriarchy and Malaysian Indian Women – Plantation and Present Status A Glimpse)

Abstract

This study examines how patriarchy system manifests in the lives of Malaysian Indian women in the plantations and in the present day. Data collected through the analysis of folk poems and interviews were conducted with women of today's generation to study the patriarchal conditions that have dominated their lives.  The selected folk songs reveal how patriarchy has affected these women throughout different eras, highlighting its strong entrenchment in their lives.

இந்த ஆய்வானது மலேசிய இந்திய பெண்களின் வாழ்வில் ஆணாதிக்கம் என்பதானது மலேசிய இந்தியப் பெண்கள் தோட்டப்புறங்களிலும் இன்றைய நிலையிலும் எவ்வாறு வெளிப்படுகின்றது என்பதனையொட்டி மேற்கொள்ளப்பட்டுள்ளது. இவ்வாய்வில் நாட்டுப்புற கவிதைகள் மற்றும்  இன்றைய தலைமுறை பெண்களுடன் நடத்தப்பட்ட நேர்காணல் முறையைக் கொண்டு ஆய்வு நிகழ்த்தப்பட்டது. நாட்டுப்புறக் கவிதைகள் ஆய்வு செய்ததன் மூலமூம்  தேர்ந்தெடுக்கப்பட்ட நாட்டுப்புறப்பாடல்களை ஆய்வு செய்வதன் மூலம் ஆணாதிக்க நிலைகள் இப்பெண்களின் வாழ்வினில் எவ்வாறு ஆதிக்கத்தினைச் செலுத்தியுள்ளது என்பது தெளிவாக ஆய்வில் தெரியவருகின்றது. இந்த ஆய்வானது  பெண்களின் இரு வேறான காலக்கட்டத்தில் ஆணாதிக்கம் எவ்வாறு இன்றும் பலமாக வேரூன்றி இருக்கின்றது என்பது இவ்வாய்வில் தெளிவாக புலப்படுகின்றது.
