Abstract
Curriculum as, 'All as all the learning which is planned and guided by the school, whether it is carried on in groups or individually, inside or outside the school. ways of approaching curriculum theory and practice: Curriculum as a body of knowledge to be transmitted, Curriculum as an attempt to achieve certain ends in students - product. Curriculum as process. National and local curriculum should be able to consider about the competition in global and the educational participants can develop themselves and they can adapt with the era where they live. The ideal curriculum should be appropriated with the social of society and human resource. This is a function as a main point in developing of local society to face the globalization. The development of national curriculum should be relevant with the local curriculum and the local curriculum hopes to increase the human resource in each region, based on the reason the region can get a good product because curriculum as product and process.
