The Method of the Revelation of the Qur’an and Aspects of Its Preservation

Abstract

The Qur’an is the Word of Allah (SWT), endowed with miraculous qualities. Therefore, it remains preserved by Allah (SWT) until the Day of Judgment. This study discusses three methods of revelation through which the Noble Book was sent down, ensuring its preservation until the Day of Judgment. Each of these methods has brought various benefits to the ummah of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), to whom the Qur’an was revealed. This article elaborates in detail on these methods and their relationship to the aspect of preservation, in addition to explaining the wisdom behind its revelation according to these methods. The findings of the study aim to provide the community with a deeper understanding of the early history of the Qur’an’s revelation and to uncover some of the underlying wisdom behind its revelation through these various methods.
