Abstract

This study, entitled “Ethical Qualification of Employees in Islamic Banks between Theory and Practice,” addresses the issue of employee qualification in Islamic banking in general. The researcher discusses the concept of ethical qualification, its importance, and its objectives. The study aims to evaluate the efforts of Islamic banking education and training from a behavioral perspective, and to identify the gap between what is currently available and what is required of ethically qualified employees. The study also examines the materials that form the foundation of training, as well as the training components that combine scientific theories with the development of practical skills. To achieve the objectives of the study, the researcher employed the inductive method and the descriptive-analytical method. Among the main recommendations of the study is the necessity of preparing employees before they work in Islamic financial institutions through specialized and in-depth training programs in Islamic banking from both professional and ethical perspectives. This can be achieved through the establishment of independent Islamic banking training centers, or through collaboration with universities by incorporating ethics and behavioral topics into academic curricula.
