REAKSI PELATIH ORANG KURANG UPAYA BERDASARKAN MODEL KIRKPATRICK TERHADAP PELAKSANAAN PROGRAM PRA VOKASIONAL BIDANG LUKISAN DAN BATIK

Abstract

This paper discusses the reaction of trainees with disabilities based on the Kirkpatrick Model for the implementation of Pre Vocational areas of painting and batik. However deliberation the findings in this limited paperwork only focused aspects of Disabled trainees’ reaction against the implementation of pre vocational field of batik and painting which are based on the Kirkpatrick Model. The study used a mixed quantitative and qualitative design. The instruments used are questionnaire and interview protocol. Findings of the questionnaire data were analyzed descriptively using SPSS Version 17, while the interview data were analyzed using Atlas ti7. Findings show that in terms of reaction participants are satisfied with the benefits of the course, the course contents, the teaching staff and physical facilities. Therefore, it can be concluded that on the whole the Pre Vocational program in the field of batik and painting organized by the Industrial Training and Rehabilitation Centre is effective for the trainees in an effort to improve their knowledge, skills, quality of life and socio-economic level.
