Abstract

This survey study aims to identify the relationship between principal’s leadership style and teachers’ commitment level based on several demographic variables. A group of randomly selected school teachers (n=48) answered a questionnaire concerning their perceptions towards principal’s leadership styles and their commitment level. Results indicate positive relationship between dimensions of principal’s leadership style and teachers’ commitment level. The finding suggests that school principal should adjust and practice their leadership based on school’s climate and culture to maximize teacher’s commitment towards schools.
