Abstract

This study was conducted to identify a principal’s communication practice and its effect on a group of school teachers’ teaching efficacy (n=50).  The teachers answered a questionnaire concerning their efficacies and their perceptions on the school principal. Results indicated that the teachers perceived the communication competency of the principal as “average’, and there was a significance correlation between principal’s communication practices and teachers’ teaching efficacies (r = .58; p< .05). The finding implies that school principals should enhance their communication and inter-personal skills.
