Abstract

The aim of this survey study is to investigate teachers’ perception towards a cluster school principal’s leadership practice and curriculum management ability. In this study, a group of secondary school teachers (n=52) answed a questionnaire concerning their school principal’s leadership practice and curriculum management ability. Results indicate that the most dominant practice of the school principal is motivation and encouragement, followed by leadership style, leadership empowerment and collaboration of ideas. Results also indicate a strong and significance correlation between principal’s leadership practice and curriculum management ability.
