Abstract

This study aimed to explore the leadership practice and curriculum management in a secondary school. In this study, four dimensions of the leadership practice (namely monitoring, distribution, coordination and evaluation of teacher's assignments) and four dimensions of curriculum management (namely clinical supervision, staff development, curriculum development and learning) were observed. A set of questionnaire was developed by the researcher based on these dimensions. The reliability of the questionnaire was high (Alfa = .98). The sample was consists of 53 school teachers. Result indicated that the perceptions of school teachers on the principal in all the dimensions of leadership practice and curriculum management were high. Besides that, a positive and significant relationship between leadership practice and curriculum management was also observed.
