Abstract

Collaborative approach in teaching supervision focus on activities that are planned to increase teacher's self-awareness of teaching; teacher identity building as well as improving teacher interpretation skill. It helps to improve teacher's ability in adapting the school environment and improve teacher's performance in teaching and learning, besides strengthen his career development, in line with objective of the Education Ministry. By using these approaches, the teacher is not tired in teaching. The teacher and students feel that teaching is fun and they enjoy learning while they are under supervision. This article reviews the collaborative approach of supervision in the Malaysian context.
