Abstract

Due to the lack of writers and the absence of inspiration, Malaysia Reportage Writing is seen to be in a slow progression. Malaysia reportage writing has begun to develop since the year 1990. Besides the selection of fiction, prose and poetry, “Hua Zong Literature Award” also has reportage. Reportage has begun to get recognition. As a result, this action has led to enhanced and improved author reporting. The article is based on the first 10 years of the “Hua Zong Literature Award” winners. The purpose of this article is to investigate the information that the writer provided to the posterity as historical references through their elevated view, multi-level and holistic, these have greatly deepened certain industries and Humanistic Connotations of a historical period. This report includes 10 years of literature that reflects the Malaysia’s aspects of the problem. These include concerns about the survival and development of indigenous peoples, the observation of the natural environment, and concern about the survival of Chinese education. On top of that, the phenomenon of corruption and political connotations and other rational connotation are further discussed. All these Malaysian society live hood issues not only directly reflected in the reportage. Social and cultural ecology formed by the specific era of politics, economy, culture, education and many other inherent existences. These have impact directly to reportage writer’s contemplation of reality and commentary.
