道慈南洋：1930年代以来世界红卍字会在星、马地区的推展 The Development of the World Red Swastika Society in Singapore and Malaysia Since 1930s

Abstract

Originated from Shandong in 1922, the World Red Swastika Society established its branches in Hong Kong in 1931, and in Singaopore in 1936, respectively. These two branches had contributed greatly to the development of Overseas Dao and charitable activities. This paper explores the establishment and development of the Southeast Asian branches of the World Red Swastika Society and discusses their roles in the evolution of Overseas Dao and charitable activities.
