Editorial Information

Published on behalf of the Faculty of Creative Arts, Universiti Malaya, Tirai Panggung is an annual peer review journal. Tirai Panggung accepts articles both in Malay and English on topics related to performing and visual arts of Malaysia, Southeast Asia, and the broader region of Asia. We welcome interdisciplinary scholarship grounded in lived practice, particularly work that emerges from sustained engagement with creative practitioners. We also welcome critical analysis of performing and visual arts, including dance, music, theatre, film, animation, and visual arts, informed by approaches within the disciplines of anthropology, history, aesthetics, cultural studies and criticism.
