Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.
  • Upload a cover letter which declares the originality of the paper.
  • Suggest 2 to 3 potential reviewers (with their names, affiliations & emails) in "Comments for the Editor".
    Potential reviewers should not be from any of the authors' institutions. Authors should take care not to recommend reviewers that have a real or perceived conflict of interest (e.g., a collaborator or someone who has recently published with one of the authors).
  • Each manuscript should be between 5000-6000 words including reference.
    Leave margins of at least 1 in. (2.54 cm) at the top, bottom, left and right every page.

Author Guidelines

Manuscripts contributed shall adhere strictly to the following guidelines:

1) Name of author, co-authors (if any), affiliation, contact numbers, email address and title of the article shall appear on the cover page. The full manuscript consists of title of the article, body text, tables, figures and references only.

2) All manuscripts shall be original and not under consideration for any publication elsewhere.

3) Manuscript shall be written either in English or Malay language. Font: Times New Roman, font size 12, double spaced, 1" margin all round.

4) Manuscript shall contain an Abstract of about 150 to 250 words in English with keywords.  list up not more than 3 keywords (maximum 5 keywords)

5) Manuscript shall conform to the latest American Psychological Association (APA) style of writing and formatting.

6) The author should check spelling, punctuation, sentence structure, the mechanical elements of arrangements, spacing, length, and consistency of usage in form and descriptions before submission.

7) Acknowledgments or appreciation to individuals for assistance with the manuscript or with the material reported should be included in the Acknowledgment at the end of the article

8) Each manuscript will be double-blind reviewed and the decision will be conveyed to the authors as soon as possible.

9) When a manuscript is returned to the authors for revision, the authors should address the specific recommendations of the reviewers and justify any suggestions that have been disregarded. The revised manuscript should be returned promptly.
