Abstract

This study was conducted to identify the teachers’ acceptance of flipped classroom approach in teaching Tamil language. Theory of technology acceptance is used to identify the teachers’ acceptance of using flipped classroom approach in teaching Tamil language. The study was conducted using quantitative approach. 100 respondents among teachers were chosen as samples in this study. Questionnaire was used to collect data. Descriptive analysis was used to analyze data using SPSS software. The result of this study demonstrated that teachers had positive acceptance of using flipped classroom approach in Tamil language. Based on the results, further research has been proposed to increase the effective use of flipped classroom approach in the teaching of Tamil language among teachers.
