This paper provides a content analysis of studies focused on the blended learning model that have been published in online journals from a database Education Resources Information Center (ERIC). A total of 489 articles on the topic blended learning were shortlisted from the database Education Resources Information Centre (ERIC) covering the period 2005 to 2014. From the total 16 articles were selected which exactly focused on the research topic. These articles were analyzed based on the scope of the study and highlighted category. In this context, the main focus is to make content analysis based on several important aspects of the study design, instruments, and research methods. The results showed that the studies focused on blended Learning have involved the quantitative design especially in the form of surveys and experimental studies as well as qualitative design involving interviews and observations.
