Abstract

The growth process of children requires perfect care and education to ensure that children's development is sustainably developed. Perfect care and education for children needs to be framed in an ecosystem, which is a comprehensive form of management and organisation. This process does not detach from the existing concept of Islamic education where the concept of childcare is seen as important in achieving the true purpose of education. This study was conducted through the method of content analysis where the book Ihya' 'Ulūm al-Dīn is used as the main sample unit in reviewing the form of management and organisation of childcare. The results of the study found that there are four forms of childcare management and organisation that are stated in Ihya' 'Ulūm al-Dīn, which are forms of management organised by children, parents, teachers, friends and the local community. Finally, the study suggests that the form of childcare management and organisation be studied in depth through various teaching methods that are interesting and appropriate according to the child's development.
