Publication Schedule

As part of our ongoing commitment to advancing rigorous scholarship and providing our community of researchers, practitioners, and readers with predictable, high-quality content, Al-Ḍād Journal is transitioning to a fixed, bi-annual publication schedule:

  1.  Issue 1: Published annually on June 30
  2. Issue 2: Published annually on December 31

Aims and Scope

Al-Ḍād Journal remains dedicated to publishing peer-reviewed, original research that addresses critical questions, emerging trends, and foundational theories within language, literary criticism, rhetoric, grammar, semantics, sounds, dictionaries, language teaching, history of linguistics, civilization, culture, and other linguistic studies. We welcome submissions that explore Arabic Linguistics and Artificial Intelligence and Language Understanding. Our core mission is to foster multidisciplinary dialogue and bridge the gap between academic theory and practical application.

Benefits for Authors and Readers

This new structured timeline ensures a more transparent and efficient workflow for everyone involved in our scholarly ecosystem:

  • For Authors: Fixed publication dates offer clear, reliable targets for manuscript planning. Our coordinated peer-review windows ensure timely feedback and rapid progression from submission to publication.

  • For Readers: The fixed-date model guarantees consistent access to the latest scholarly advancements twice a year.

Submission Timeline & Rolling Reviews

While Al-Ḍād Journal accepts submissions on a rolling basis year-round, manuscripts must be submitted by the following priority deadlines to be considered for the corresponding issue:

  • To be considered for the June 30 Issue: Submit by February 15

  • To be considered for the December 31 Issue: Submit by August 15

We extend our deepest gratitude to our editorial board, reviewers, and authors whose dedication continues to elevate the caliber of our journal. We look forward to your continued engagement and contributions under this exciting new format.
