Abstract

In the history of Tamil Literature, Bharathidasan’s poetry is in the limelight. His poetic sensibility is natural and par excellence. Drawn towards the ideology of Dravidian culture, Bharathidasan centredhis focus on the socialist ideas and independence struggle. He had a good access to Poetry, Novel, Short Story and Drama. He also gained momentum in the Tamil Cine field, the growth and development of Tamil language and the victorious life of the Tamils. Pavender had all these aspects as the base and his missions of life which this Paper tries to probe.

தமிழ் இலக்கிய வரலாற்றில் தோன்றிய ஒப்பற்ற கவிஞர்களுள் ஒருவரென விளங்குபவர் பாவேந்தர் பாரதிதாசன். இவரது படைப்புகள் தமிழின்பத்தை மட்டும் ஊட்டுவனவாக அல்லாமல் தமிழ்ச் சமுதாயத்தின் விழிப்புணர்விற்கும் வளர்ச்சிக்கும் வழிகாட்டுவதாகவும் அமையப்பெற்றுள்ளன. இச்சிந்தனையின் அடிப்படையில் பாரதிதாசன் கவிதைகளில் பொதுவுடைமைச் சிந்தனைகள் எவ்வாறு வெளிப்படுகின்றன என்பதை ஆய்வு செய்வதாகவே இக்கட்டுரை வரையப்பெற்றுள்ளது.
