IJEAS: The International Journal of East Asian Studies aims to provide a platform for exchanges of ideas related to the East Asian region with particular emphasis on Japan, China and Korea. It offers informative and insightful multidisciplinary discourse for academics, policymakers and students alike. The result is a provocative exploration of the most pressing East Asian political, economic and social challenges of our time. Vol. 10 No. 1 (2021): Special Issue on Covid-19 and Japan

This Special Issue of the International Journal of East Asian Studies contains nine articles on the theme of Covid-19 Pandemic and Japan. The goal of the Special Issue is to create awareness of research studies in the area of pandemic outbreaks in Japan and other East Asian countries. The production of this Special Issue is proudly sponsored by Japan Foundation, Kuala Lumpur (JFKL), Malaysia.
