Journal of Al-Tamaddun (JAT) is an open-access, peer-reviewed research journal published by the Department of Islamic History and Civilization, Academy of Islamic Studies, Universiti Malaya. JAT published high-quality research articles and book reviews within the scope of Islamic History and Civilization.

Volume 14 No. 1 (2019) of JAT was available online on 23 June 2019 with 11 full length papers and 1 book review. Articles in this issue were authored by 17 authors from multiple affiliations and 5 countries i.e: Malaysia, Indonesia, Spain, Turkiye and Kuwait.
