Journal of Al-Tamaddun (JAT) is an open-access, peer-reviewed research journal published by the Department of Islamic History and Civilization, Academy of Islamic Studies, Universiti Malaya. JAT published high-quality research articles and book reviews within the scope of Islamic History and Civilization.

Volume 19 No. 1 (2024) of JAT was available online on 30 June 2024 with 24 full length papers and 1 book review. Articles in this issue were authored by 89 authors from multiple affiliations and 10 countries i.e: Malaysia, Indonesia, Germany, The Netherlands, Spain, Australia, Algeria, Qatar, Kazakhstan, and Pakistan.
