Journal of Al-Tamaddun (JAT) is an open-access, peer-reviewed research journal published by the Department of Islamic History, Civilization and Education, Academy of Islamic Studies, Universiti Malaya. JAT published high-quality research articles and book reviews within the scope of Islamic History and Civilization.

Volume 20 No. 1 (2025) of JAT was available online on 20 June 2025 with 23 full length papers and 1 book review. Articles in this issue were authored by 77 authors from multiple affiliations and 12 countries i.e: Malaysia, Indonesia, Brunei, United Kingdom, USA, Canada, The Netherlands, Australia, Saudi Arabia, Kazakhstan, Hungary and Hong Kong.
