Aims and Scope

The Journal of Statistical Modeling and Analytics (JOSMA) publishes original research articles devoted to the development and application of statistical modeling and analytics across diverse disciplines. The journal aims to advance both theoretical and applied contributions that demonstrate clear methodological rigor, analytical depth, and practical relevance.

Areas of interest include, but are not limited to:

• Big Data Analytics
• Statistical Modeling & Simulation
• Multivariate Statistics
• Time Series Analysis & Forecasting
• Mathematical Statistics
• Statistical Methods
• Probability
• Nonparametric Statistics
• Circular Statistics
• Computational Statistics
• Spatial Analysis
• Predictive Analytics
• Prescriptive Analytics
• Data Mining
• Machine Learning
• Artificial Intelligence
• Quality Control

Manuscripts that rely solely on simple methods and elementary analyses (e.g., descriptive statistics, basic correlation, instrument validation, or routine regression applied without adequate justification, diagnostics, and interpretation), and that lack a well-defined analytical framework or substantive elements of statistical modelling or advanced analytics, are considered outside the scope of the journal.
