Transfer Copyright 

By submitting manuscripts to the Journal of Statistical Modeling and Analytics (JOSMA), authors agree to transfer copyright to the journal. However, authors may republish their work or grant others permission to republish it; in which case it should be accompanied by a proper acknowledgment that the work was originally published in the Journal of Statistical Modeling and Analytics (JOSMA). The journal adopt CC-BY-NC licence which authors may also share and distribute their article anywhere of non-commercial website, social media and repositories immediately on publication. 

Authors may also reuse the Abstract and Citation information (e.g. Title, Author name, Publication dates) of their article anywhere at any time including social media such as Facebook, blogs and Twitter, providing that where possible a link is included back to the article on the journal site.

Self-Archiving and Repository Policy

JOSMA allows authors to share their work responsibly while maintaining the integrity of the published record.

  1. Submitted Version (Preprint)
    Authors may post the submitted manuscript (before peer review) on personal websites, institutional repositories, or recognized preprint servers. It must be clearly stated that the paper has not yet been peer reviewed.

  2. Accepted Manuscript (Postprint)
    Authors may share the final accepted manuscript (after peer review but before journal formatting) in institutional or non-commercial repositories. The posted version must:

    • Include the full citation of the published article

    • Provide a link to the official journal version

    • State that it is the accepted manuscript, not the final published version

  3. Published Version (Version of Record)
    The final published journal PDF may not be posted on third-party websites or repositories without permission from JOSMA, unless allowed under the journal’s license.

  4. Citation Requirement
    All shared versions must properly cite the published article in JOSMA.
