Abstract

This paper aims to examine the social problems of Indian women in Malaya focusing on the murder cases of Indian women in Malaya from 1900 to 1945. This paper examines the motives of Indian women killed in Malaya. Specifically, this study is a historical study that focuses on the hardships faced by Indian women in Malaya until they became victims of murder in the pre -independence era. This study uses a qualitative method that analyzes data from the first and second sources. The findings of the study showthat Indian women had been victims of murder in which they were brutally murdered. Murder cases are often due to domestic problems such as jealousy, resentment, anger, suspicion, cheating wives or having relationships with other men and mental disorders.
