Abstract
This research paper is written to explain the methodology of Basra school about qira’at. First, the study discusses the overall exegetical approach, then examines the methods adopted in dealing with the qira’at mentioned in the exegeses. The study has investigated many sources to find information i.e. the study has made use of authentic journals, (un) published articles. In the conclusion section, the study discusses and highlights important issues and summary.
