Abstract

The topic of the last revelation of the Holy Qur’an is one of the topics on which disagreement occurred between the predecessors, as the Companions and the followers along with their followers, may Allah be pleased with them, differed in determining and specifying the last revelation of the Noble Qur’an, and their expressions, views, and sayings varied as well. What this section is based on are speculative statements and views, which do not reach the degree of definitiveness because there is neither reliable text to determine and specify the last verses revealed from the Holy Qur’an nor evidence-based from the Prophet Mohammed, Allah’s peace and blessings be upon him, and that is why this disagreement occurred. This study aimed to discuss this topic focusing on five objectives. The first objective was about the story of the disagreement on the last revelations of the Qur’an; the second objective was in classifying the sayings in the last revelations of the Qur’an s; the third objective was about the most famous sayings from the predecessors, may Allah be pleased with them, in the last verses of the Qur’an revelation; the fourth objective was devoted to discussing the origin of such disagreement in the last revelations of the Qur’an, and the fifth objective was about probabilities and the combination of all sayings. This study concluded by mentioning the most important results in this topic.
