This study aims to explore the use of self-regulated learning strategies in Islamic Creed Education among Malay students at Universiti Malaysia Kelantan (UMK). Students who possess self-regulatory characteristics and apply self-regulated learning strategies in Islamic Creed Education are better able to internalize Islamic teachings and use knowledge of creed (aqidah) and morality (akhlaq) as a safeguard in their lives, thereby enhancing their level of faith and piety toward Allah SWT. A total of 194 first- and second-semester students enrolled in the TITAS course from various faculties at UMK were selected as respondents using a quantitative approach and a survey research design. The questionnaire consisted of four sections: Students’ Demographic Profile; Self-Regulated Learning Strategies in Islamic Creed Education; Internalization of Creed; and Social Learning Factors among Malay Students at Universiti Malaysia Kelantan. The data were analyzed descriptively using mean and standard deviation. The incorporation of self-regulated learning strategies in the curriculum makes students more consistent in their studies and helps improve their academic performance. The findings indicate a significant relationship between the level of use of self-regulated learning strategies in Islamic Creed Education and the internalization of creed. Overall, the results show that both the use of self-regulated learning strategies in Islamic Creed Education and the level of creed internalization are at a moderately high level among the respondents.
