Abstract

Qur’anic education represents a Rabbani (divinely guided) model of education that is suitable for guiding humanity toward the right path. Therefore, Qur’anic education should be given proper attention so that it may serve as a model for nurturing human beings toward well-being in both this world and the Hereafter. This study is conducted to explain the concept of Qur’anic education, its characteristics, objectives, and general educational methods found in Qur’anic verses, based on several classical exegetical works, including Fi Zilal al-Qur’an. Data collection in this study employs historical and documentary methods, while data analysis utilises inductive, deductive, and comparative approaches. The findings indicate that Qur’anic education is a Rabbani form of education with specific characteristics, objectives, and methods that are suitable for humanity across all times.
