Journal of Al-Tamaddun (JAT) is an open-access, peer-reviewed research journal published by the Department of Islamic History and Civilization, Academy of Islamic Studies, Universiti Malaya. JAT published high-quality research articles and book reviews within the scope of Islamic History and Civilization.

Volume 15 No. 2 (2020) of JAT was available online on 27 December 2020 with 14 full length papers and 1 book review. Articles in this issue were authored by 28 authors from multiple affiliations and 7 countries i.e: Malaysia, Singapore, Saudi Arabia, Turkiye, Pakistan, Qatar and Algeria.
