Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

Author Guidelines

由马来亚大学中文系所办的《马大华人文学与文化学刊》是一本经过同行评审的开放性学术期刊，致力于推动华人文学与文化研究的发展。本刊旨在搭建一个跨学科、跨地域的学术交流平台，关注华人社群的文学创作、社会发展、文化变迁等。现诚邀学者、研究者赐稿，尤其原创性、深度分析的学术研究成果，中文稿件字数以9,000至15,000字为宜，英文则是6,000至10,000字。请将稿件以Microsoft Word文档形式发送至本刊编辑部邮箱：jclcum@um.edu.my。 中文稿须包含中英文标题和摘要，而中文摘要为200至300字，以及4至5个关键词。正文请采用1.5倍行距，使用APA (7th) 引用格式。投稿作品必须是未经发表的原创作品，且未同时投递其他期刊。所有来稿均须附上作者信息页，包含中英姓名、所属机构、职称、联系方式，且此页需与正文分开。如欲了解更多本学刊之内容，可参阅学刊网站： https://ejournal.um.edu.my/index.php/JCLC
