About the Journal

Journal of Islamic Educational Research (JIER) is currently accepting manuscripts for publication. JIER, a blind peer-reviewed journal, is published by Islamic Education Programme, Academy of Islamic Studies, University of Malaya. It is an online and open access journal comprises manuscripts in Malay, English and Arabic languages. It has been launched during International Seminar on Empowering Islamic Education 2016 (MADRASAH 2016).

JIER uses a continuous publishing model, according to which each manuscript is published individually once approved. The article can then be accessed online. All the approved manuscripts for the particular year will be combined in one volume for the year. Only one volume is published per year.

JIER welcomes manuscript submissions that cover multidisciplinary, interdisciplinary and transdisciplinary studies associated with Islamic education, which may range from (but not limited to) philosophy, foundation, thought, institution, history, administration, management, curriculum, methodology of teaching and learning, examination, measurement, evaluation, assessment, psychology, counselling, teacher and student relationship, sociology, and etc.
