Manuscript Templates

All authors are required to use the official manuscript template when preparing articles for submission to the Online Journal of Research in Islamic Studies (RIS). This ensures consistency in formatting and compliance with editorial standards.

1. Download the Appropriate Template

Please select and download the template according to the language of your article:

Important: Make sure to select the correct template based on the article language.

2. Guidelines for Template Use

  • Do not modify the structure or formatting of the original template. Do it on the downloaded template. This includes font type and size, spacing, heading levels, margin settings, and reference style.

  • You may edit and insert content in the provided sections, but do not delete, rearrange, or rename the standard headings and layout.

  • Manuscripts not using the template or those with altered formatting may be returned for correction prior to review.

3. Purpose of the Template

The template is designed to:

  • Standardize submission formatting

  • Facilitate the editorial and peer review process

  • Ensure smooth transition to final publication layout

4. Submission Format

After completing the manuscript using the appropriate template:

  • Export or save the file in .doc/.docx format as instructed.

  • Submit the final manuscript according to the guidelines provided in the submission portal.
