About the Journal

About Journal of Tropical One Health

Aim

The journal aims to advance knowledge at the intersection of human, animal, and environmental health, with a particular focus on tropical regions. It seeks to foster interdisciplinary research and dialogue that support the One Health approach in addressing emerging health challenges in a globally interconnected world. This focus reflects the recognition that tropical regions face distinct and complex issues such as zoonotic and vector-borne diseases, neglected tropical diseases, antimicrobial resistance, climate change, deforestation, food insecurity, and increasing risks of pathogen spillover due to rapid urbanization and environmental disruption
