Copyright Notice

The Journal of Malaysian and Comparative Law (JMCL) accept manuscripts that have not been previously published and are not under consideration for publication by any other print or electronic media.

By submitting a manuscript to JMCL, authors agree to transfer copyright to the Journal. However, authors may republish their work or grant permission for others to republish it, provided that proper acknowledgment is given that the work was originally published in JMCL. The Journal adopts the CC-BY-NC licence, under which authors may immediately share and distribute their articles on non-commercial websites, social media platforms such as Facebook, blogs, and Twitter, and repositories upon publication.

Authors may also reuse the abstract and citation information of their articles (e.g. title, author name, and publication dates) at any time and on any platform, including social media sites, provided that, where possible, a link to the article on the Journal’s website is included.
