The International Journal of Shariah in Economics and Governance (IJSEG) is an international, peer-reviewed, open-access, multidisciplinary scholarly journal published by the Department of Shariah, Economics and Governance, Academy of Islamic Studies, Universiti Malaya. Established in 2026, IJSEG provides a scholarly platform for the publication and dissemination of high-quality, original research that advances knowledge and fosters international academic dialogue across Shariah, economics, governance, management, public affairs, and related fields.

IJSEG welcomes original research articles, review articles, conceptual and theoretical studies, empirical research, and policy-oriented scholarship that contribute meaningfully to theory, policy, and practice.
