The Protection of Consumer’s Rights in the Quran: The Melamine Contaminated Food Case

This study focuses on moral transactions in food market that helps protect consumers. Following descriptive analytical approach, the study shows that Quran has systematically forbid fraud and outlaws its practice by two ways: Either by automonitor of oneself which reflects his religious believes, or implementation of juristic surveillance to protect consumers from harful foods.The harmful melamine contaminated food has been taken as an example of international trade fraud that went beyond all human rights and Quranic control which should always prevail.
