Abstract
This study aims at explaining the rich experience of Dr. Ahmed Hassan Farhat in terminological research, where he sensed the war against the Qur’anic terms from the enemies of Islam, inside and outside the society, for more than half century. That attack on Islamic terms in general, and Qur’anic terms in particular, transformed his research trend towards removing the rubble from what was attached to the Qur’anic terms of darkness and the dust that had accumulated on it, returning it to its luster. In fact, the study focuses on his methodology in dealing with the Qur’anic terms, such as: (the imam, the nation, the caliphate, the instinct, those in whose hearts is a disease) in their Arabic and Qur’anic connotations; and the meanings of the obscure and similar in the Holy Qur’an, which is based on understanding and editing the understanding of the Holy Qur’an, and the development of a unified and comprehensive methodology for its interpretation and understanding.
