马华少儿电视剧的死亡主题改编策略—— 以许友彬小说为例

A Research On Adaptation Strategy of Death Theme In Malaysia Children's TV Series: Khor Ewe Pins' Novel As Examples

Abstract

2013 年，马来西亚华语儿童教育频道 Astro 小太阳播映了首部少儿电视剧—— 《七天》。该剧改编自马华作家许友彬（1955-）同名长篇少儿小说，乃 21 世纪以来 首部改编的马华少儿长篇小说。此后，Astro 小太阳陆续拍摄许友彬少儿小说电视 剧系列，象征马华儿童文学的跨媒介发展。纵观许友彬少儿小说，死亡主题贯穿该 系列改编作品。本文立足于文学与影视作为叙事体文学的跨媒介特性，结合少儿接 受审美心理，分析电视剧如何“继承”与“拓展”许友彬小说死亡主题。本文发现 许友彬小说的死亡主题在改编过程受社会语境的限制，映射了马华社会的影视禁忌。 为此，本文死亡主题改编策略为中心，探究许友彬少儿小说改编电视剧系列对马华 儿童文学的意义与价值。

In 2013, Malaysian Chinese-language children's channel Astro XTY aired its first children's TV series, Seven Days. Adapted from a children's novel of the same name by Malaysian writer Khor Ewe Pin (1955-). His novel series is the first children's TV series to be adapted in the 21st century. Since then, Astro XTY has been adapting his children novel TV series, symbolizing the cross-media development of Malaysia children's literature. Throughout Khor Ewe Pins’ children’s novels, the theme of death runs through the series of adaptations. Based on the cross-media characteristics of literature and film as narrative literature, and combined with children's aesthetic psychology, this paper analyzes how TV dramas “inherit” and “expand” the theme of death in Khor Ewe Pins’ novels. This paper finds that the theme of death in Khor Ewe Pins’ novels is restricted by the social context in the process of adaptation, which reflects the taboos of film and television in Malaysian Chinese society. Therefore, this paper focuses on the adaptation strategy of the theme of death and explores the significance and value of the TV series adapted from Khor Ewe Pins’ children’s novels to Chinese children literature.
