Guideline
Special Issue Guidelines
The Journal of Islamic Educational Research invites proposals and manuscripts for Special Issues that address emerging, contemporary, or underexplored themes in Islamic education at local, regional, and global levels. A Special Issue should present a coherent scholarly focus, led by qualified Guest Editor(s) with proven expertise in the relevant field. Proposals must include the theme and rationale, scope and objectives, proposed timeline, and a brief profile of the Guest Editor(s). All submissions will undergo the journal’s standard double-blind peer-review process to ensure academic rigor, originality, and ethical compliance. Manuscripts should demonstrate strong theoretical grounding, robust methodology, and clear implications for Islamic educational theory, policy, and practice, and must adhere strictly to the journal’s formatting, referencing, and publication ethics guidelines.
