The Effect of Glorifying the Almighty Allah on Practicing Freedoms and Rights in Light of the Holy Qur’an

Abstract

This paper discusses the most prominent characteristics of pious Muslims who glorify and obey Allah’s rituals i.e. Allah says (That (is the command). And whoso magnified the offerings consecrated to Allah, it surely is from devotion of the hearts 22:32). Glorifying Allah is to be fulfilled through following His Religion. Practicing freedoms is one of the main ways of enjoining good and forbidding wrong. This study attempts to study all issues concerning freedom in the Qur’an and the overcome resulting from these freedoms at the public and personal level. The Holy Qur’an exhaustively discuses humans’ freedoms, however, there is misunderstanding, misuse and malpractice in handling these freedoms either by so-called Muslims (scholars) or by non-Muslims not having clear understanding of the Qur’an. Human freedoms stated in the Qur’an emphasizes dignity and respect of humanity. Thus, the problem lies in those so-called Muslims and those non-Muslims having inaccurate understanding of the Qur’an. The study stresses that freedoms in Islam are in line with rules and laws of morals and ethics. This thus shows how Islam considers and protects human beings’ freedoms of beleif, thinking and expressions.
