Abstract
Allah’s commandment to human beings of doing good is one of the most important Divine aims of the Holy Qur’an. This commandment empowered by the Divinity emphasizes the value of good as stated in the Holy Qur’an. This paper discusses the sources of financing as one of the necessary rights of charity. The study also clarifies the methods of financing charity through investment. The researcher adopted inductive descriptive research method based on Islamic approaches of charity. This thus helped the researcher formulate the theoretical framework of charity from the perspective of the Holy Qur’an. The proposed framework is found satisfactory to encompass/cover all recent updates that the researcher has used to formulate new rules for these updates. The proposed framework has been proved successful in that it covers all different types of different charity organizations including sources of financing and investment for charity. The study recommends that it is very important to spread the jurisprudence of charity from Islamic perspective and is important to unify all Muslim scholars’ efforts under one Muslim association that presents all Muslim scholars from different sects. The study finally recommends that it is important to educate Muslim preachers and Imams in order to do their duties with the spirit of the times.
