Reciting the Qur’an in Melodies: Its Concept, History, Conditions and Its Relationship to the Qur'anic Singing

Abstract
This research aims to study the use of melodies in reciting the Qur’an, and its relationship to the qur'anic singing contained in hadiths from the Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, collecting hadiths and effects in this section, and extrapolating the sayings of Muslim scholars regarding the ruling on reciting in melodies, whether it is prohibited, permitted, or stipulated. It has some controls to read out. The research also aims to bring this issue closer and come up with a clear vision by studying the history of the emergence of melodies in reciting the Qur’an and the stages it went through. Among the issues dealt with in the research are the semantics of melodies and (Maqamaat) and linking them to the meaning and context of the Qur’an, and the controls that have been settled can be deduced from the sayings of scholars in the issue of reciting the Qur'an in melodies.
