Abstracting and Indexing

Security and Information Applications (JSIA) is a new open-access journal launched in 2026 by the Centre of Research for Cyber Security and Network (CSNET), Faculty of Computer Science and Information Technology, Universiti Malaya. The journal is working towards inclusion in major scholarly databases to maximise the visibility of the research it publishes.

Indexing Targets

• Year 1: MYCITE (MyJurnal) and the Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ)
• Years 2 to 3: Emerging Sources Citation Index (ESCI), Clarivate
• Year 3: Scopus (Elsevier)
• Years 4 to 5: Science Citation Index Expanded (SCIE), Web of Science

JSIA metadata is openly available through the OAI-PMH interface of this site for harvesting by indexing services. This page will be updated as each indexing milestone is achieved.
