Artificial Intelligence (AI) Policy

For Authors

• The use of generative AI tools (for example, large language models) in preparing a manuscript must be clearly disclosed in the Acknowledgements section, stating the tool and its purpose.
• AI tools cannot be listed as authors, because they cannot take responsibility for the work.
• Authors remain fully responsible for the accuracy, originality and integrity of all content, including any text, code or figures produced with AI assistance.

For Reviewers and Editors

• Manuscripts under review are confidential and must not be uploaded to generative AI tools.
